AMSTERDAM - Billy Joel behoort tot de meest succesvolle artiesten uit de popgeschiedenis en heeft meer dan 30 top tien hits op zijn naam staan. Zijn repertoire bestrijkt eigenlijk alle kanten pop-spectrum: natuurlijk de klassieke meezinger ‘The Pianoman’ maar ook swingende rockers zoals ‘My life’, prachtige ballads zoals ‘Honesty’ of lekkere Rock & Roll zoals ‘Only the good die young’.

Stuk voor stuk nummers die live misschien nog wel meer indruk maken dan op de plaat. En hoewel Billy (70+) nog steeds optreedt, is de kans erg klein dat hij nog in Nederland zal neerstrijken.
